Cindy Best is our Writer By the C.
She passionately writes from the peace of her little cottage by the sea on Cape Cod. Cindy has always been a "girl on a mission" and a strong advocate for meaningful causes. She brings to the table the following experience:
- Over 10 years of experience as the creator, president, primary service provider, school contract negotiator, grant writer & annual report generator for the NH non-profit A.R.T.S.: Adaptive Art, Respite & Therapeutic Play Services serving children and adults with special needs.
- Over 3 years of conducting grant funding searches, writing grant proposals, organizing and submitting grants, and creating content for New England based non-profit organizations and 1 International non-profit since 2023.
- Published Author of 2 books: Meet Me Where I'm At published by Future Horizons Inc., a leader in Autism Resources. A book designed as a visual tool to help children with autism advocate for themselves. AUTHENTIC: Unconventional Poetry by a Woman Who Finally Embraces Her Unconventional Self self published on Kindle Direct.
- Over 30 years of experience as a physical therapist in the Inpatient, Outpatient, Home Care, Birth to Three & School settings. She is currently an Inpatient PT at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital.
